More Hytale Mods for Update 7 (0.7)
5 more Hytale mods that work in Update 7
Five more Hytale mods with an Update 7 build, all tested in 0.7: Endgame & QoL with phased bosses and pets, RPG Leveling, MMO Skill Tree, Vein Mining and Keb's Katanas. How I set each one up, what they need, and what changed since my test.
Tested on Hytale 0.7 (Update 7), October 13, 2026, in four separate test worlds, RPG Leveling and MMO Skill Tree kept apart. How I test

Five more Hytale mods with an Update 7 file, and this time they go deep: real boss fights, monster levels, a full skill system, vein mining and a new weapon type. I tested all of them in Hytale 0.7 on the day after the update. My pick for most players: Endgame & QoL, because it adds the most to play and needs nothing else.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| #5 Keb’s Katanas | 9 ore katanas with their own moveset | 0.4.5 | 0.4.5 | Nothing | Melee fans |

| #1 Endgame & QoL | 4 phased bosses, a new dimension, pets | 6.0.0 | 6.0.4 (Oct 18) | Nothing | After you beat the base game |
All five run on the server, and in single player that server is your own world. How to install them and what to do when something doesn’t load is in my Hytale install guide.
How I picked and tested them
- The rule: a file tagged for game version 0.7 (Update 7). On October 13, 2026 I went through the 250 most popular Hytale mods on CurseForge and checked the full file list and the dependencies of every candidate. All five finalists had a 0.7 file from October 12.
- One swap: Lucky Mining also had a 0.7 file, but its luck effect never showed clearly on camera, so Keb’s Katanas took its place.
- The test: the same afternoon I recorded all five in Hytale 0.7, in four test worlds copied from my recording world: one for Vein Mining and Keb’s Katanas, one each for Endgame & QoL, RPG Leveling and MMO Skill Tree. RPG Leveling and MMO Skill Tree both bring their own levels and HUD, so I never ran them together.
- For the camera: bosses, elites and goblins were spawned with commands and the bosses frozen for the camera moves, and I added XP with the mods’ admin commands to show the level-ups and menus.
- The order is my own pick, not a download ranking.
- Rechecked on October 22, 2026: Endgame & QoL and MMO Skill Tree have newer files, and MMO Skill Tree’s list of required mods has grown (see below).
#5 Keb’s Katanas
Keb’s Katanas by Kebuki adds nine katanas made from ores as a new weapon type, balanced for vanilla progression. They come with their own moveset: a chain of up to five hits, and a charged swing where you hold to sheathe the blade and then dash forward with a strong cut. You craft them at the Katana Forge, a workbench you build at the Workbench (tier 1), which also makes nine new materials like Steel Ingot and Mithril Alloy. The Prisma katana glows and lights up the area, and Pyrium is the newest of the nine. If another mod gave you ores like Mithril or Onyxium, the Klops Merchant in the Forgotten Temple trades them for the new alloys, according to the mod page.
How I set it up: I recorded the Mithril, Prisma and Pyrium katanas in my mining test world, the last two against goblins. Pressing Q did nothing visible in my test; the mod page lists the signature attack as a placeholder for now, and the Katana Forge also still uses a placeholder model.
Version: I tested v0.4.5 (October 12), still the newest on October 22. Over 160,000 downloads. It comes as a .zip, not a .jar; it goes into the same Mods folder.
Needs: nothing. It works with Perfect Parries and Simple Enchantments from my first Update 7 list.
Runs on: the server or your own world.
Known issues: none listed beyond the placeholder signature attack. The author asks for bug reports and balancing feedback, and only allows the official, free download links.
#4 Vein Mining
Vein Mining by EineNT lets you break a whole vein at once: hold Left Alt (the walk key) while you mine, and the connected blocks come out with it, the loot in one pile. Type /vm to open the menu: mine all connected blocks, ores only, or switch it off, and pick a pattern: Freeform follows the vein, Cube clears 3x3x3, and there are tunnels (1x1, 1x2, 3x3), walls (3x3, 5x5) and a diagonal staircase. Your tool loses durability for every block broken, and by default you need a fitting tool in hand (pickaxe, axe, shovel or shears).
How I set it up: in /vm I switched the target to Ores Only. Then I held Left Alt and the left mouse button on an ore vein until the whole vein broke. According to the mod page you can also set everything in chat, for example /vm --mode ores --pattern free --key walk; the key can be walk, crouch or always.
Version: I tested 2.5.0 (October 12, “Updated for Hytale v0.7”), still the newest on October 22. Over 350,000 downloads, MIT license.
Needs: nothing.
Runs on: the server or your own world. The settings are saved per world in VeinMining.json, in the world’s mods folder under EineNT_VeinMining. After editing, restart or type /pl reload EineNT:VeinMining.
Known issues (mod FAQ): if a world won’t start after an update, the config format may have changed: delete the EineNT_VeinMining folder in that world’s mods folder and it’s recreated. Keep only one Vein Mining .jar in your Mods folder. A “Failed to reload plugin” message at startup can usually be ignored, according to the author.
#3 MMO Skill Tree & Abilities
MMO Skill Tree by ziggfreed is inspired by mcMMO and RuneScape: 20 skills (mining, woodcutting, swords, archery, magic, crafting and more) level up as you play. Every skill has a reward tree where you pick bonuses at levels 5, 10, 15 and on up to 100, plus 63 hotbar abilities, 34 triggered passives, quests and around 200 achievements, some of them for Update 7’s Feastmaster and Gobliterator. Everything runs through menus; /xp opens your skills. The abilities sit on the middle mouse button, Ctrl plus middle mouse and H, so E and R stay free for Update 7’s runestones.
How I set it up: MMO Skill Tree got its own test world, with the libraries it needed at the time. To show a filled reward tree, I gave myself Mining XP with an admin command and opened the Mining tree.
Version: I tested 1.7.1 (October 12). Version 1.7.2 followed on October 16 and 1.7.3 on October 20; I haven’t tested those yet. Over 470,000 downloads. According to its page it needs an Update 7 server and won’t load on Update 6.
Needs: the most of any mod here. I tested 1.7.1 with Ziggfreed’s CommonLib 2.3.0, Perfect Utils, the Mastery Pack, the Bounty Board Pack and MMO Mob Scaling. The current page asks for CommonLib 2.4.0 or newer and recommends Perfect Utils, and on October 22 CurseForge listed eight required projects: CommonLib, Perfect Utils, the Mastery Pack, the Bounty Board Pack, MMO Mob Scaling, the MMO Skills Stations Pack, RPG Stations and Seasons of Orbis. The CurseForge app installs dependencies for you.
Runs on: the server or your own world. Server owners get an admin dashboard with /mmoadmin; permissions are off by default, and admin commands need mmoskilltree.admin. Perfect Parries adds four parry rewards to the trees, and Simple Enchantments pays Enchanting XP.
Known issues: none listed. Full documentation and patch notes are on the author’s docs site, linked from the mod page.
#2 RPG Leveling
RPG Leveling by Zuxaw_dev turns Hytale into an RPG. Every monster has a level, and rare elites carry stars: one star means double health, damage and XP, two stars triple. You earn XP from kills, mining, woodcutting, harvesting and taming, spend stat points on damage, defense, health, stamina and more, and pick one of six classes with 18 passives. After the max level, Zenith keeps the climb going. Open everything with /lvl gui, or Alt+1 while standing.
How I set it up: RPG Leveling got its own test world. Goblins showed their level over their heads, and one Scrapper carried two stars (see the gallery). To show the level-up banner I added XP with the admin command /lvl addxp, and /classes opened the class page.
Version: I tested 0.4.2 (October 12), still the newest on October 22. Over 540,000 downloads. Still on an older Hytale version? The page names the matching older builds, for example 0.3.13 for Hytale 0.6.2.
Needs: nothing. Optional: PartyPro for shared XP in a party, and Alec’s Tamework for companion XP.
Runs on: the server or your own world. /lvl gui and /lvl info are open to everyone; /classes and the admin commands need the rpgleveling.command permissions.
Known issues: CurseForge lists “Party Mod | Simple Party | Team & Squads” as incompatible. The author also warns that outdated mods can fail to load or crash a server on Update 7, and recommends backing up your mods folder and worlds before every big Hytale update.
#1 Endgame & QoL
Endgame & QoL by Lewaii is the biggest mod on this list. It adds four bosses with phases: the Frost Dragon in the Frozen Dungeon, Hedera in the Swamp Dungeon, the Void Golem in the Void Realm and the Void Dragon in Luminia, a whole new dimension. On top come 16 elites like the Alpha Rex, three reworked dungeons, temporal portals, wave arenas, quests and more than 160 items. Boss health grows by 50% for every extra player, and there are five difficulty presets. Every boss can drop its own pet, which you level from tier D to SS; the dragons can be ridden from tier C and fly from tier B. Type /eg wiki for an in-game encyclopedia of everything.
How I set it up: Endgame & QoL got its own test world. I spawned the bosses with commands and froze them for the camera, entered Luminia through its instance, and opened /eg wiki and the pet panel (/eg pet), where the Frost Dragon pet was still locked.
Version: I tested 6.0.0 (October 12, “Hytale Update 7 compatible”). Since then 6.0.1 to 6.0.4 followed, the newest on October 18; I haven’t tested those yet. The rune count changed too: the page listed 55 ability runes for the Update 7 ability bar when I tested, now it lists 57 (25 skills and 32 supports). Servers still on Update 6 should stay on 5.4.x, according to the author. Over 480,000 downloads.
Needs: nothing. RPG Leveling, MMO Skill Tree and Endless Leveling are detected automatically if installed; with both leveling mods installed, RPG Leveling takes priority for boss scaling.
Runs on: the server or your own world. /eg config opens a settings window with 12 categories; most changes apply live. The license asks servers that run the mod to mention “Endgame & QoL” visibly.
Good to know (mod page): the mod sends anonymous server and player counts through HStats. You can opt out under Server in /eg config, or by setting enable=false in hstats-server-uuid.txt.
How to install them
All five install like any Hytale mod: through the mod browser in the main menu, the CurseForge app, or by putting the file into UserData/Mods, and then switching them on in your world’s Mods tab. Two things are specific to this list: Keb’s Katanas is a .zip file, and MMO Skill Tree needs its libraries in the same folder. Every step and fixes for the usual problems are in my Hytale install guide.

Real in-game screenshots from Hytale Update 7 (0.7), recorded in The Mod Hunter's test worlds on October 13, 2026. Bosses, elites and goblins were spawned with commands, the bosses were frozen for the camera moves, and XP was added with the mods' admin commands to show the level-up and the menus.
FAQ
Do these mods work in Hytale Update 7?
Yes. All five have a file for Update 7 (game version 0.7) on CurseForge, uploaded on October 12, 2026, and I tested every one of them in Hytale 0.7 on October 13. Endgame & QoL and MMO Skill Tree have released newer Update 7 files since then, which I haven’t tested yet.
How do I install Hytale mods?
Click Mods in Hytale’s main menu, install the mod, then switch it on in your world’s settings (Mods tab, then Save World Settings). The CurseForge app also installs required dependencies for you. Every way to install, plus fixes for common problems, is in my Hytale install guide.
Does MMO Skill Tree need other mods?
Yes. Its page says it needs Ziggfreed’s CommonLib (2.4.0 or newer for the current version) and recommends Perfect Utils. On October 22, CurseForge also listed the Mastery Pack, the Bounty Board Pack, MMO Mob Scaling, the MMO Skills Stations Pack, RPG Stations and Seasons of Orbis as required. I tested version 1.7.1 with CommonLib 2.3.0, Perfect Utils, the Mastery Pack, the Bounty Board Pack and MMO Mob Scaling.
Can I use RPG Leveling and MMO Skill Tree together?
Both are full progression systems with their own levels and HUD, so I tested them in separate worlds. Endgame & QoL works with either one: its bosses can scale to your level, and if both are installed, RPG Leveling takes priority there.
Does Vein Mining break any block or only ores?
By default the target mode is All Blocks, so it works on stone, wood and dirt too, not only on ores. Type /vm and switch to Ores Only if you only want ore veins; that’s the setting I used in the video.
How did you pick them?
I went through the most downloaded Hytale mods on CurseForge and only kept mods with an Update 7 file. Lucky Mining also has one, but its effect was impossible to show clearly on camera, so Keb’s Katanas took its place. The order is my own pick, not a download ranking.
Where are the first five?
In my first Update 7 list: Simple Enchantments, Zephyr, Perfect Parries, Wan’s Wonder Weapons and BetterMap.
